Panel 1: In
the title panel of this Sunday-style colour comic, Baldwin uses
binoculars to look across the panel at Marie, who is standing in front
of a shattered-looking Casey. Baldwin is ecstatic; Marie is not.
Between Baldwin and Marie are the words "West of Bathurst by Kari
Maaren."
Panel 2: It is the middle of the night. Baldwin opens his door to Marie.
Baldwin: Uh...hi...?
Marie: May I come in?
Panel 3: They enter Baldwin's living room.
Baldwin: It's two in the morning.
Marie: I know, but...um. Well. I need to ask you...have you, oh, I dunno, kept any of Casey's clothes or anything?
Panel 4:
Baldwin: Casey's clothes?
Marie: Maybe.
Baldwin: Is he back?
Marie: I didn't say that.
Panel 5: Ooh! Has something happened? Is it scandalous? Should I put it on Twitter? Give me every juicy detail immediately!
Panel 6: She glares at him.
Panel 7:
Baldwin: I take it I just ensured that you wouldn't tell me anything at all.
Marie: Pants, shirt, underwear, socks, tie.
Baldwin: Coming right up.
Alt-Text:
Baldwin and Steve have the same tendency to blurt out their true
feelings at bad moments. However, Steve's true feelings are usually
harmless, amusing, or endearing. Baldwin's are really, really not.
