Panel 1: Marie
sits at a table with a laptop, a coffee mug, a huge pile of books, a
smaller pile of papers, and a crumpled-up piece of paper in front of
her. Casey comes up behind her.
Casey: Uh...hi. What are you--
Marie [angrily]: Working!
Panel 2: Casey pulls up a chair.
Marie: I
know you people; as soon as possible, you'll lure me into some
procrastinatory activity. I'm getting as much as I can done before that
happens.
Panel 3:
Casey [happily]: I got all seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on DVD for Christmas.
Panel 4: Marie buries her face in her hands.
Marie: I'm resting my case at this point.
Casey: If we do three episodes per weeknight, we'll be finished by March.
